Recently, I watched Sherlock Holmes. Nice plot especially when it is different from the usual Sherlock Holmes book I had read. Sherlock Holmes is one who not only deduce but also fight. Intellectually clever, Physically clever. Hmm... Anyway, if you like to read stories like Kindaichi or Conan, it is a good show to watch.

Today is New Year Eve. So happy new year to all of you. To me, it is just a normal day. I don't really see any big transitions especially when mine starts on 1st of December 2009. Maybe for me, I look forward more to last day of October 2010 when my 1 month leave for November 2010 is waiting for me. Anyway, again, Happy new year!

The movie alvin and the chipmunks 2 is cute and funny at times. I like the scream by Dave. "Alvin!". This is a family show. Good show for families with children. Rate it around 6.5 around 10.

This is a chinese history type of show. Those who simply like chinese history, it is surely a movie which you should not miss. As what the title states, it is about 10 people protecting sun yat sen and lots of people attempting to kill him. They are sent from the Qing dynasty (FYI, the last dynasty of China). In this movie, there is no good or bad people, but how much you are willing to sacrifice for a cause. To me, it is draggy at times. I yawned quite a couple of times. I think that the last 20 minutes will be quite exciting as you are seeing fighting scenes by a couple of people. In this show, you also will see Leon Lai fighting. He acts like a grandmaster. But it seems strange to see him fight. I still prefer Donnie. Haha.. Anyway, overall, I will rate it 6/10. To compare, I will prefer avatar.

It has been one month since I blogged le. Now for today, I am going to talk a bit about Avatar. Everyone whom I know, be it student or friends, say that the trailer sucks. But the movie is totally different from the trailer. Hmm.. I wonder what their motive is. Usually, it is the trailer which seems exciting but the movie sucks. This time, it is the other way round. Anyway, this movie is still ok. Can still hold me for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Not draggy. Plot still ok. I will rate it a rating of 7/10. As what I have read some comments, this show indeed has hidden meanings. And if you want to know what the show is about, let's just say that this show is about humans vs aliens. And humans are the bad guys. It is something like your Independence day whereby aliens invade earth. And all human race unite to fight against the aliens. But for this movie, the role is reversed. The aliens have poor technology, like arrows, animals and their so called "gods". For the human race, it will be machine guns, high powered aircrafts and robots. So if you are undecided whether to watch, I will encourage you to watch this movie. Hmm... or you can wait for my another review about Bodyguards and Assasin which I am going to watch today. :)
