Few years ago, you might have heard of this story: A teacher came to class and took out a $50 note. He then asked his students who would want this note. All hands shot up. Then he crumbled the note and asked again. Still, hands shot up. He proceeded to throw it on the floor, stepped on it and even spat on it. Hands still shot up even after he asked. The moral of the story is that one's value doesn't diminish through circumstances.

But recently, I have another perception to that story. Yes, the value doesn't diminish through circumstances. But the value depends on the situation. If I am stuck in a island, with no water and food, with my throat parched, I believe that even if someone gives me thousands of $50 notes, it won't be of any help. That goes to show that the money note isn't able to help in my situation.

These days, I am wondering that I am really of NO help. My VALUE has definitely diminished. It has been a good five years plus, I think. But I think that it is time to move on le. This time, it is really not able to avail time for many things le.

So long, everyone in xxxx
